Booking Terms and Conditions

These Booking Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with Emma Ramm.

They are designed to ensure a smooth, professional and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

By confirming a booking and making payment, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Booking Confirmation

Your booking is confirmed once:

The booking fee has been paid, and
These terms have been agreed to

At this point, the date is secured and a legally binding agreement is in place.

2. Fees & Payment

A non-refundable booking fee of £100 is required to secure your date
The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the event

If the balance is not paid on time, I reserve the right to cancel the booking.

3. Performance Details

Performance times and set lengths will be agreed in advance and confirmed as part of your booking.

Any requests for additional performance time:

Must be agreed in advance where possible
May be subject to an additional fee

4. Setup & Requirements

You are responsible for providing:

A safe and suitable performance space
Access to a reliable power supply
Adequate shelter for outdoor performances

If these requirements are not met, I may not be able to perform.

5. Equipment & Insurance

All equipment remains my property and must not be used by others without permission
All equipment is PAT tested and maintained to a high standard
I hold Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance (available on request)

I cannot be held responsible for damage or injury caused by misuse of equipment.

6. Guest Conduct & Safety

I reserve the right to stop or end a performance if:

There is a risk to safety
Equipment is at risk of damage
Guest behaviour is inappropriate

In these circumstances, the full fee remains payable.

7. Delays or Interruptions

If the performance is delayed or interrupted due to circumstances beyond my control (such as power failure or venue issues), the full fee remains payable.

8. Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel your booking, this must be confirmed in writing.

The following charges apply:

Less than 1 month before the event: Full fee payable
1–6 months before: 50% of the total fee
6–9 months before: 25% of the total fee
More than 9 months before: Booking fee retained only

9. Cancellation by Me

In the unlikely event that I am unable to perform due to illness or circumstances beyond my control:

I will do everything possible to arrange a suitable replacement performer
If a replacement cannot be found, all payments will be refunded in full

10. Force Majeure

Neither party will be held liable for failure to fulfil obligations due to circumstances beyond their control (including extreme weather, government restrictions, or venue closure).

Where possible:

The booking may be rescheduled within 12 months
Payments will be transferred to the new date

11. Travel & Expenses

Travel within approximately 1 hour of my base is included
Additional travel will be charged at £0.60 per mile

Any additional agreed costs (such as accommodation) will be confirmed in advance.

12. Song Requests

Song choices should be selected from my repertoire
Special requests must be agreed at least 3 months in advance

If I am required to learn new songs:

This is charged at £25 per song

I reserve the right to decline requests that are not suitable for my style.

13. Promotion & Media

For public events, you are responsible for promotion.

I may share content from performances on my website and social media.

No personal or private event details will be shared without permission.

14. Changes to Your Booking

Any changes to your booking must be agreed in writing (email is fine).

Final note

By confirming your booking and making payment, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Booking Terms & Conditions.
